Shipping Policy

Free U.S. shipping on every order via DHL Express. Processing 1–2 business days, transit 1–2 business days, tracking on every order — as a glossary.

Effective date: 2026-10-14 · Governing law: Missouri, USA

This policy is a glossary: every term below is defined in full, in alphabetical order. Read it top to bottom for the whole story, or jump to the term you need. The short version: shipping is free, every order travels with DHL Express, and you get tracking on every parcel.

Address change (noun)

A change to the delivery address on an order. Email support@scalptheory.shop within 12 hours of placing your order, with your order number and the corrected address. After the label is created, we cannot reroute a parcel. If the parcel is already with the carrier, use the carrier's delivery-management tools or contact the carrier directly; we will help where we can, but a reroute is not guaranteed.

Carrier (noun)

The company that carries your parcel from us to you. Our carrier is DHL Express, a fast, fully tracked express service, for orders in the contiguous United States. PO Box, APO, FPO, and U.S. territory orders travel through the U.S. Postal Service parcel service instead, because DHL Express does not serve those addresses directly.

Damaged in transit (noun)

Damage that happens while a parcel is with the carrier. Photograph the outer box and the item, then email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and the photos. We will arrange a replacement or a refund — your choice. Keep the packaging until the matter is settled.

Delivery (noun)

The moment your parcel reaches the address on your order. DHL Express delivers to the address on your order, and a delivery confirmation email follows. If you will not be home, the parcel is left according to your local DHL Express delivery practice. Check the tracking details for the exact delivery location if a parcel is not where you expect it.

Free shipping (noun)

Shipping at no charge to you. Shipping is free on every order. There is no minimum order value, no code to enter, and no membership requirement. The shipping charge shown at checkout is $0.

International shipping (noun)

Shipping to addresses outside the United States. We do not ship internationally at launch. Orders ship to U.S. addresses only, including the PO Box, APO, FPO, and U.S. territory service described under Carrier.

Lost parcel (noun)

A parcel the carrier cannot locate. If tracking shows no movement for 3 business days, email us. We open a carrier trace with DHL Express and keep you updated. If the trace confirms the parcel is lost, we reship your order or refund it in full — your choice.

Porch theft (noun)

A parcel taken after delivery. Check the tracking details for the exact delivery location, ask household members and neighbors, and check with your building's leasing office or mailroom. If the parcel is still missing, email us and we will help you open a claim with the carrier.

Processing (noun)

The work we do between your order and the carrier's pickup: picking your tools, checking them, packing them, and labeling the parcel. Processing takes 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays). We pack each order by hand with enough protection for tools, glass, and cords, without a box full of filler you have to throw away.

Tracking (noun)

A number that lets you follow your parcel. When the label is created, we email you a tracking number. Follow the link in that email, or enter the number on the DHL site, to follow your parcel from our door to yours. If a tracking number has not arrived within 2 business days of your order, email us and we will look into it.

Transit (noun)

The time your parcel spends with the carrier. Transit takes 1–2 business days in the contiguous U.S. Door to door — processing plus transit — most orders arrive in 2–4 business days. PO Box, APO, FPO, and U.S. territory deliveries may run longer than the standard window.

Weather delay (noun)

A delivery delay caused by weather, carrier network disruptions, or other events outside our control. We cannot promise a delivery date when the carrier network is disrupted, but we will help you trace the parcel and keep you informed.

Order journey, step by step: you order and pay through Shopify secure checkout; an order confirmation email arrives within minutes — check it, and email us right away if anything in it looks wrong; we process in 1–2 business days; your label is created and tracking is emailed; DHL Express picks up; transit scans update as the parcel travels; delivery, with a delivery confirmation email.

Taxes are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Free shipping does not change the price of the items, and it does not change the taxes calculated at checkout.
