Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights — including California CCPA/CPRA rights. We do not sell personal information. As a glossary.

Effective date: 2026-10-14 · Governing law: Missouri, USA

This policy is a glossary: every term below is defined in full, in alphabetical order. The short version: we collect what we need to run the store, we never collect your card numbers, and we do not sell personal information.

Access (noun)

Your right to see the personal information we hold about you. Send a request to support@scalptheory.shop and we will provide a copy. We reply within 30 days. An identity check may apply before we release information, so that we do not hand your data to someone else.

California rights (noun)

Privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA / CPRA). California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, delete it, correct it, and opt out of selling or sharing it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. To make a request, email support@scalptheory.shop.

Children (noun)

People under 13. Our site is not marketed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Cookies (noun)

Small files your browser stores when you visit a site. We use essential cookies that keep the cart and checkout working, and optional analytics cookies that help us understand which pages visitors use. You can decline optional cookies in your browser settings; the cart and checkout keep working without them.

Deletion (noun)

Your right to ask us to delete your personal information. Send a request to support@scalptheory.shop. We reply within 30 days. Some records must be kept for tax and legal reasons; where that applies, we will tell you what we must keep and why.

Fulfillment (noun)

Processing, packing, and shipping your order. Fulfillment is one of the reasons we collect personal information: without your name, address, and order details, we cannot send you anything.

Payment data (noun)

Card numbers and other payment details. We do not collect card numbers. Payments are processed through Shopify and its payment processors on secure checkout pages. We never see or store your full card number.

Retention (noun)

How long we keep personal information. We keep order records for as long as tax and legal requirements demand, then delete them. Messages are kept only as long as needed to support your order or answer your question.

Sharing (noun)

Giving personal information to service providers so the store can run. We share personal information only with the providers needed to operate: Shopify (store hosting and order processing), payment processors (to charge your order and issue refunds), DHL and the U.S. Postal Service (to deliver your order and provide tracking), and our email provider (to send order, shipping, and support emails). We do not share personal information with anyone else except as required by law or to protect against fraud. We do not sell personal information.

What we collect (noun)

The personal information we gather. When you visit: site usage (pages visited) and basic technical data such as browser type. When you order: name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, items ordered, and order total. When you write to us: the contents of your emails and messages.

Why we collect (noun)

The purposes for collecting personal information: fulfillment (to process, pack, and ship your order); shipping and tracking (to send your order to the carrier and share tracking with you); support (to answer your messages and handle returns, refunds, and defect claims); fraud prevention (to detect and prevent fraudulent orders); legal and tax records (to keep the records the law requires us to keep).

Your rights (noun)

What you may ask us to do with your personal information. On any day, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Send your request to support@scalptheory.shop. We reply within 30 days. An identity check may apply.

Changes: If this policy changes, the updated version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes are described at the top of the page for 30 days after posting.
